FRAG-CT

Compotech, in partnership with DEVCOM-SC, developed the FRAG-CT software to aid in U.S. Military fragmentation arena tests. By utilizing state-of-the-art AI/ML routines, 3D Computed Tomography, and 3D visualization techniques, Compotech is able to create a digital twin of the munition and it’s fragmentation patterns. This method provides a 200x improvement in speed over traditional hand-counting methods. A process that previously could take months can now be completed in a matter of days.

The FRAG-CT Software provides an opportunity for improved weapons characterization and armor system design.
